Yesterday, we hosted our first workshop, in collaboration with the Franklin Public Library (MI).
With Christmas right around the corner, we decided to teach how to make mini piñatas to hang in the Christmas tree.
I got the idea of the tiny piñata because my husband likes to hide candies in our Christmas tree in December. My children love that but the issue with candies is most of the time there is nothing to hang them on. Making small piñatas that could be used as containers and also as ornament sounded like a good idea.
What I like about it is they are made of upcycled materials such as cardboard, tissue paper and string and can be made in every shape and every color. Everyone can make a personalized and unique piñata.
It was a very interesting and fun workshop. Each piñata came out unique and I learn new techniques. I think at the end everybody had a good time.
Above are some piñatas made last night by our creative guests.
Thank you all for joining us last night !
